New Jersey Audubon

Taunton Lake Road

During the early days of Covid 19, I decided that I needed to do something that was a positive action during the time of darkness. I decided to repopulate my little farm with the native plants that should be growing here. My garden was on the first garden tour, two years later the changes that I have made are becoming visible. Cardinal Flowers and NY Ironweed are beginning to migrate to my meadow, birds are hiding in my "dead hedge" and Bluebirds abound. At one point I actually saw a Pileated Woodpecker in my ancient White Oak tree.

Please join me again on June 3rd to see the progress that has been made!

PLEASE WEAR LONG PANTS,SOCKS AND SNEAKERS WHEN VISITING MY FARM. YOU MAY WANT TO SPRAY YOUR PANTS WITH A TICK REPELLANT AS WELL.

Please do NOT park on Taunton Lake Road, pull into the driveway.
