Marlton Lakes Civic Association Clubhouse

The Marlton Lakes Civic Association clubhouse is for the use and enjoyment of the residents of Marlton Lakes. It is a meeting space and playground for activities and events for the children and adults in the community.

On June 1, the clubhouse will be the location of the annual, much-anticipated plant sale of The Garden Club of Marlton. The sale will feature native plants; annuals; perennials; planters brimming with herbs, native plants, and seasonal flowers; and much more. All sales will be cash only.

Proceeds from the sale support the club’s many community beautification and civic development projects, including maintaining the flower pots on Main Street and at the Post Office; maintaining Kaighn Garden at the Gazebo; the LeRoy Homer Memorial Garden; The Verna Powell Memorial Butterfly Garden; and the John Inskeep House Herb Garden. The garden club also provides annual financial awards for graduating seniors at Cherokee High School and the Burlington County Institute of Technology. Members provide a monthly flower arrangement for the Marlton library; support a family in need each spring; volunteer at the Philadelphia Flower Show; organize an annual Flower Show at the Wiley Christian Retirement Community; and provide birthday flower arrangements for residents of the Wiley nursing home. The club sponsors enrichment workshops, and promotes conservation and horticulture education through programs and activities, including the annual plant sale and Marlton Garden Tour. In addition, the club decorates a room for the holidays at historic Smithville Mansion, and creates a themed Christmas tree for the Wiley Festival of Trees.
